The Directorate of Communications will hold a panel titled “Turkic World Dialogues: Shared Future, Shared Vision” in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, on 1 October 2026.
Ahead of the 13th Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Organisation of Turkic States (OTS), scheduled to take place in Ankara on 29–30 October 2026, the Presidency’s Directorate of Communications is organising a series of panels entitled “Turkic World Dialogues: Shared Future, Shared Vision” across OTS member and observer states. The fourth panel in the series will be held in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, on 1 October 2026.
The programme, comprising a panel and a press conference, will open with remarks by Mekin Mustafa Kemal Ökem, Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to Bishkek, followed by a video message from Head of Communications Burhanettin Duran addressing the participants.
The panel, moderated by Nurşin Ateşoğlu Güney, Member of the Presidency's Security and Foreign Policies Council of the Republic of Türkiye and faculty member at the National Intelligence Academy, will feature as speakers former President of the Kyrgyz Republic Roza Otunbayeva; İlyas Topsakal, Deputy Chair of the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) responsible for the Turkic World and International Relations and Member of Parliament for Samsun; Arslan Koyçiev, State Secretary of the Kyrgyz Republic; Selman Oğuzhan Eser, Deputy Chair of the Justice and Development (AK) Party responsible for Relations with Turkic States and Member of Parliament for Karaman; and Ragıp Kutay Karaca, Vice-Rector of İstanbul Aydın University.
The panel programme, which aims to enhance the visibility of the OTS at the regional and global levels, communicate the Turkic world’s shared vision to different audiences, and strengthen academic, cultural and societal interaction among the countries, will also discuss expectations for the 13th OTS Summit to be held in Ankara.
