President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan delivered a speech at the opening ceremony of newly-completed investments in Rize.
“5,636 housing units have been completed”
Stating in his speech that the total value of the 26 projects whose official opening ceremony he performed in Rize, has reached 10 billion liras, President Erdoğan noted that the housing initiatives carried out through TOKİ have gained momentum following the February 6 earthquakes, adding that 5,636 housing units have been completed while the construction of 1,221 housing units continues.
Rize Culture Street will contribute to the city’s economy
President Erdoğan also stated that a people’s garden covering a total area of 330,000 square meters, which will add new shades of green to Rize, will officially enter into service today, and that the newly opening Rize Culture Street will contribute to the city’s economy.
Rize Southern Ring Road and Tunnels Project has been put into motion
Drawing attention to the significant investments made in transportation, maritime, and tourism projects, President Erdoğan announced that the Rize Southern Ring Road and Tunnels Project, spanning approximately 30 kilometers, has been put into motion.
Total bed capacity of 1,235 has been reached in Rize
Touching upon the developments in the field of healthcare, President Erdoğan pointed out that a total bed capacity of 1,235 has been reached in Rize, and stated that efforts continue to ensure that Rize City Hospital and Çayeli State Hospital offer uninterrupted healthcare services at the highest level.
