Presidency's Head of Communications, Burhanettin Duran, shared a post on his Nsosyal account regarding Prime Minister Mark Carney of Canada's visit to Türkiye.
In his message, Head of Communications Duran stated the following:
"At the invitation of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Prime Minister Mark Carney of Canada will pay an official visit to Türkiye on 22–23 October 2026.
On the occasion of this historic visit, bilateral relations between the two countries are envisaged to be elevated to the level of Strategic Partnership.
The two sides will undertake a comprehensive review of cooperation between Türkiye and Canada, discuss further steps to advance bilateral relations, and exchange views on current regional and global issues.
The signing of agreements in various areas of bilateral cooperation is also planned as part of the visit."
